Good morning everyone - I hope you are all well rested and feeling darn right perky this morning after ringing in the New Year! We had a pot luck dinner at the beach last night with the people from the park, then lit a huge beach fire and partied til the wee hours of the morning. We danced in the sand so both Arturo and I have sore calves this morning! This is the first time we have stayed up til midnight in years! At the stroke of midnight, all the people on the beach, and there were a lot of Mexican families celebrating, lit huge sparklers and walked up and down the beach singing and laughing. We had sparklers as well, so joined in the parade - it was really something to see.
We´ve had a few adventures in the past few days, but will update later. Today we are at the internet store in Malaque, and it´s really starting to heat up - so we will post more with pictures later in the week.
